Volunteers from KIPCO – the Kuwait Projects Company (Holding) – acted as mentors in the ‘Entrepreneurship Masterclass’ program delivered by INJAZ Kuwait. The one-day program was delivered to 60 students from the 8th and 9th grades of the Cambridge English School.

In June 2016, KIPCO signed a two-year partnership agreement with INJAZ Kuwait whereby volunteers from across the KIPCO Group would deliver INJAZ programs in the areas of entrepreneurship and work readiness to one thousand students by the end of the 2017-2018 academic year. INJAZ Kuwait is an NGO that aims to drive community service through professional volunteering engagement with youth.

Ms Eman Al Awadhi, KIPCO’s Group Communications Director said:

“Through our partnership with INJAZ Kuwait, we are encouraging our professionals across the Group to volunteer their time to work directly with students and help them better understand the career opportunities they will find after graduation. Our volunteers also serve as role models and have the chance to exchange their personal experiences working in the private sector. Our work with INJAZ Kuwait has helped us strengthen our internal culture of giving back to society, and especially supporting the young people of Kuwait.”
