KIPCO – the Kuwait Projects Company – is providing an opportunity for students studying in the United States to explore the option of taking transferable summer course credits back to their respective universities abroad through the American University of Kuwait (AUK).
The initiative comes as part of the participation of KIPCO and its Group companies in the 30th Conference of the National Union of Kuwaiti Students – USA Branch (NUKS-USA) held in San Diego, California.
AUK, a member of the KIPCO Group, was present to help advise students who want to spend their summer vacation in Kuwait on how to apply for summer courses at the university. AUK representatives explained the application process, procedures needed and required approvals to ensure that the credits are transferred to students’ universities in the United States.
KIPCO is the Platinum Sponsor of the 30th NUKS-USA Conference for the third consecutive year. The company’s participation is part of its responsibility as a Kuwaiti company to help provide bright and enthusiastic young Kuwaitis with suitable career development opportunities when they return from studying abroad. The annual event was held under the patronage of H.H. the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah. Alongside AUK, Burgan Bank and Marina FM were also present at the conference as representatives of the KIPCO Group.
