AEP inaugurates Shuwaikh showroom

Alternative Energy Projects Company (AEP) has made alternative energy products available to the public at its new showroom in Shuwaikh. AEP is a solar energy provider, specialized in bringing energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions to office buildings, homes and public areas.

KIPCO holds Shafafiyah Forum

At its Annual Shafafiyah (Transparency) Investors’ Forum, KIPCO said that external challenges such as regulations, currency fluctuation and oil prices, will impact the company’s profitability in 2017. However, KIPCO’s diversified investments, the strong support it has from its shareholders, and the internal practices that have been intangible to the Group’s success will help the company tackle these challenges.

Sheikha Salwa Stem Cell Bank to be completed in September

KIPCO and its Group companies will hand over the Sheikha Salwa Sabah Al Ahmad Stem Cell and Umbilical Cord Center in mid-September 2017, with 70% of the construction of the building now complete. The center, financed through a KD 7 million donation made to the Ministry of Health by Masharee Al Khair Charity Organization on behalf of KIPCO Group, is the Gulf region’s first-ever center to be dedicated to stem cell research and the storage of umbilical cords.
